The point of this post is to set expectation. I plan to post at least once a week about an accomplishment.
I’ve had this blog idea for over a year and it has just sat with no use. I bought domain and hosting services a year ago as a new year’s resolution, lol. It’s taken a whole another trip around the sun for the resolution to come around again.
I’m am actually going to use it this year. This post is proof that I am making small progress on my goals.
However like most things; expectation does not meet reality.
AI created a pretty wordpress site with a lot of fluff and bs. I have stripped it down to barebones. Feeling like this is another failure to launch, dumb idea.
However, nobody is really going to care about this website except for me. I’ll work on this project for at least another year.
These past couple weeks I’ve dug into hosting service dashboard, cpanel, and their wordpress hosting tools. I’ve used Gemini to research a bunch of setup/configuration questions. I took an introduction online course at learn.wordpress.org because I didn’t know how to edit blocks within pages.
Even though I am not very proud of this accomplishment. I am finally hosting my own website for my own accountability and to hopefully see major progress in my health, spirtuality, and technical acumen.
